Kara Ford has been a lisenced cosmetologist for seven years, but began her education long before that, having grown up in the midst of her mothers thriving business. She has since furthered her skills in a variety of ways; whether traveling and working hand in hand with Matrix platform artists Tony and Ricardo Altieri, attending countless trade shows and hands on classes, educating and performing photo shoots at The Temple, a Paul Mitchell Partner School, or mentoring Serena through her apprenticeship at As You Like It.

 

Currently, She is a certified Hairloc’s Extension Specialist, Certified Bioionics Straightening Specialist, Senior Cosmetologist, Ear piercing specialist, as well as a member of the National Cosmetology association. Along side her passion for hairstyling, she is also an up and coming free lance photographer. Kara has chosen to return to As You Like It in order to continue the family tradition.
